Kayla Suzanne Holdgreve is a photographer and visual artist from Lima, Ohio. She received a BFA in Photography from Columbus College of Art and Design in Columbus, Ohio. She is currently an MFA candidate in the Photography + Integrated Media program at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. With the use of photography, family archives and text, Holdgreveexplore ideas of home, autobiography and memory. She often manipulate hernegatives and prints, including the use of dirt from specific familiallocations. When using expired films, papers and non-archival materials, shelike to think about how preservation as well as the deteriorating image can reflectour experience with memory.
